Australian Skilled Migration is seeking experienced and skilled Diesel / Agricultural Equipment Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles, agricultural machinery, and heavy equipment. The successful candidate will ensure that equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while performing preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs according to industry standards.

DIESEL / AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Diesel / Agricultural Equipment Mechanic or related field.
  • Work experience with Almarai in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
  • Must have completed at least 1 year of college education or a 1-year vocational course in Mechanical Technology, Automotive, Diesel Mechanics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, agricultural machinery, and heavy equipment systems.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
  • Ability to use mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on mechanical work.
  • Willing to work in Australia and comply with workplace safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, agricultural machinery, and heavy equipment.
  • Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
  • Repair and service engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical components, and related equipment.
  • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • Identify mechanical faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, equipment specifications, and service documentation.
  • Replace defective parts, adjust equipment components, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs completed.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and industry standards at all times.
  • Perform other related mechanical duties as assigned.
