Basket House Plastic Factory is seeking an experienced Injection Machine Operator to operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines, maintain product quality, and ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading raw materials, adjusting machine parameters, inspecting finished products, and performing basic troubleshooting.

INJECTION MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• TESDA NC II in Machinist required.
• Experience operating plastic injection molding machines is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes, machine settings, and production procedures.
• Ability to adjust temperature, pressure, cycle time, and other machine parameters.
• Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and machine operation.
• Ability to inspect and measure finished products using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and product quality.
• Ability to record production data accurately.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and manufacturing procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Load plastic raw material pellets or powder into the machine hopper.
• Set and adjust machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time according to work orders and production requirements.
• Start and monitor injection molding machines throughout the production cycle.
• Observe machine performance and ensure stable and efficient operation.
• Safely clear minor jams and material feed issues.
• Inspect finished plastic products for defects such as short shots, flash, warping, and other quality issues.
• Measure finished products using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Sort acceptable and defective products and reject non-conforming items.
• Monitor production output and help minimize material waste and scrap.
• Record production output, machine downtime, material consumption, and other required production data.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine problems to the maintenance or production supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized machine and work area.
• Follow production procedures, workplace safety requirements, and quality control standards.
• Assist with routine machine checks and basic maintenance activities when required.
