National Reconstruction Contracting Est. is seeking an experienced Waiter to provide professional food and beverage service and ensure a positive dining experience for guests. The successful candidate will greet and assist customers, take accurate orders, explain menu items, serve food and beverages promptly, and monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal.

WAITER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or a related field.
• NC II in Food and Beverage Services required.
• Previous restaurant, hotel, or food service experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Ability to explain menu items, ingredients, and food allergens to guests.
• Skilled in taking accurate orders and using POS systems or similar ordering tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and courteous attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their assigned tables.
• Present menus and explain dishes, ingredients, daily specials, and available food options.
• Inform guests about potential allergens and accommodate special requests when required.
• Recommend daily specials and appropriate menu items while promoting additional products when suitable.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using a notepad, tablet, or POS system.
• Communicate orders accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages safely, efficiently, and according to service standards.
• Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and provide additional service when needed.
• Offer refills and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and coordinate with supervisors when necessary.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly arranged dining and service areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and company service procedures.
• Work closely with kitchen, bar, and other service staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
