Industrial Draftsman
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in 2D and 3D modeling and drafting for manufacturing products and tooling.
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, CATIA, or similar drafting applications.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), manufacturing processes, and material specifications.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering standards, and production requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
- Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and comply with company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings and 3D models of manufacturing products, components, molds, tools, and equipment.
- Develop detailed engineering and production drawings based on design specifications and customer requirements.
- Revise and update technical drawings to reflect engineering changes and production improvements.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, production personnel, and project teams during product development.
- Prepare assembly drawings, exploded views, bills of materials (BOM), and fabrication details.
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards, company procedures, and manufacturing specifications.
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and technical records.
- Assist in product development, prototype design, and tooling improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications before releasing drawings for production.
- Provide technical support to production teams during fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with quality assurance and engineering departments to resolve design-related issues.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
