Australian Skilled Migration is seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter to perform diagnostic, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy diesel engines and heavy equipment machinery in compliance with Australian industrial standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements.

HEAVY DIESEL FITTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Heavy Diesel Fitter or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• At least 1 year in college or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in mining, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment environments is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery efficiently and safely.
• Willing to work in Australia under strict industrial safety standards and regulations.
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings, service manuals, and diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy diesel engines, trucks, earthmoving equipment, and construction machinery.
• Perform scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance, and equipment inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine system faults.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble engine components and heavy equipment parts.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and safety compliance.
• Replace worn or damaged parts including pumps, engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with Australian workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Record maintenance activities, repairs, and inspection reports accurately.
