Interlink Shipping Line Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Admin to support and coordinate the servicing, repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance of company vehicles and fleet. The role involves supervising mechanics and workshop personnel, managing maintenance schedules, coordinating spare parts procurement, maintaining accurate fleet records, monitoring maintenance costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
FLEET MAINTENANCE ADMIN
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in fleet maintenance, service management, or a related position.
- Strong practical knowledge of motor vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience supervising mechanics or workshop personnel.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and vehicle inspection procedures.
- Experience with spare parts procurement and inventory management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage maintenance schedules and multiple repair requirements.
- Experience in the shipping, logistics, transport, or related industry is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of maintenance documentation, service records, and fleet management systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers, contractors, mechanics, and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the servicing, repair, and preventive maintenance of company vehicles and fleet.
- Supervise mechanics, workshop staff, and contractors.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
- Inspect vehicles before and after repairs.
- Assess vehicle maintenance and repair requirements.
- Identify and procure spare parts, equipment, and workshop supplies.
- Coordinate local and international procurement and freight arrangements for vehicle parts.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, job cards, and fleet management software.
- Review job cards, maintenance reports, supplier quotations, and invoices.
- Monitor the quality of repair and maintenance work.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired according to required standards.
- Monitor maintenance costs, repair budgets, and overall fleet performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, operations, accounts, and logistics teams.
- Track vehicle maintenance schedules and follow up on outstanding repairs.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Help minimize vehicle downtime and maintain fleet reliability.
- Perform other fleet maintenance administrative and coordination duties as assigned.
