All Industries Mechanical Pty Ltd is seeking skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join its team in Australia. The successful applicants will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing light to medium-duty diesel vehicles, ensuring reliable vehicle performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Diesel Mechanic
Qualifications:
- Male/Female applicants are welcome.
- 25–42 years old.
- High School Graduate or Vocational Graduate.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience working with light to medium-duty vehicles.
- Experience with Isuzu, Hino, Fuso, or similar vehicles is required.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
- Proficient in using automotive diagnostic tools, scanners, testing equipment, and mechanical tools.
- Good knowledge of diesel engines, vehicle mechanical systems, and routine maintenance procedures.
- Able to diagnose mechanical faults accurately and carry out appropriate repairs.
- Strong preventive maintenance and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good customer service skills and professional communication with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail when documenting maintenance and repair work.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have relevant certifications in diesel mechanics, automotive servicing, or a related technical field.
- Physically capable of performing mechanical repair and maintenance tasks.
- Able to work independently and as part of a professional workshop team.
- Reliable, responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, inspect, service, maintain, and repair light to medium-duty diesel vehicles.
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing to keep vehicles in safe operating condition.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine-related faults using appropriate diagnostic procedures.
- Carry out repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, driveline components, braking systems, steering, suspension, and other vehicle systems.
- Service and repair vehicles from Isuzu, Hino, Fuso, or similar manufacturers.
- Use diagnostic scanners, testing equipment, meters, and other specialized tools to identify vehicle faults.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify worn, damaged, or defective components.
- Remove, repair, replace, and install mechanical components as required.
- Perform engine tune-ups, oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Check cooling, fuel, exhaust, and related engine systems for proper operation.
- Inspect and repair vehicle braking, steering, and suspension systems when required.
- Conduct testing after repairs to verify that vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, technical manuals, service procedures, and workshop standards.
- Accurately record inspection findings, maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and service information.
- Prepare clear and complete maintenance and repair documentation.
- Communicate vehicle faults, repair requirements, and service recommendations clearly to supervisors and customers.
- Provide professional customer service and respond appropriately to customer concerns regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate with other mechanics, technicians, service personnel, and workshop staff.
- Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, and workshop equipment in good working condition.
- Keep the workshop and assigned work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure completed work meets required quality, safety, and performance standards.
- Perform road tests or operational checks when required and authorized.
- Perform other mechanical, maintenance, and workshop duties assigned by management.
