CAD OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Proven experience preparing detailed civil, structural, and architectural drawings for airport, transit hub, or large infrastructure projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or BIM software.
- Strong experience coordinating multidisciplinary drawings and identifying conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP designs.
- Ability to accurately interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate drawings within project deadlines.
- Familiarity with structured layer management, drawing standards, and document version control.
- Strong communication and coordination skills when working with engineers and project teams.
- Preferably not more than 50 years old.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the construction and engineering activities of terminal buildings, hangars, and large-span steel or reinforced concrete structures.
- Ensure all construction work complies with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications, and strict Japanese engineering standards.
- Coordinate the installation and integration of specialized airport systems, including baggage handling systems, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and other building services.
- Review and monitor blueprint execution, material specifications, and construction methods to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve engineering and technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, inspection records, and project documentation.
- Effectively manage local labor, subcontractors, and available construction resources in a remote island environment.
