Safe Track Contracting Company (STCE) is seeking experienced Crawler Crane Operators to safely operate crawler cranes ranging from 50 to 150 tons for civil construction, industrial, and heavy lifting projects. The successful candidates will perform precision lifting operations while ensuring compliance with lifting plans, safety regulations, and industry standards.

CRAWLER CRANE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating crawler cranes with capacities from 50 tons to 150 tons.
• Extensive experience in lifting operations, sheet piling, civil construction, industrial projects, and heavy equipment handling.
• Thorough understanding of crane load charts, lifting capacities, boom configurations, working radius, and ground bearing conditions.
• Strong knowledge of safe lifting procedures, rigging practices, and construction site safety.
• Must possess a valid Crane Operator License or third-party competency certificate.
• Ability to perform equipment inspections and identify operational or safety issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with lifting crews.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding construction environments.
• Aramco-approved certification or Gulf work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Operate crawler cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 50 to 150 tons in accordance with approved lifting procedures.
• Perform heavy lifting operations for construction, industrial plants, sheet piling, infrastructure, and heavy equipment installation projects.
• Read and interpret lifting plans, crane load charts, and site instructions before commencing operations.
• Determine safe lifting capacities based on boom configuration, working radius, load weight, and ground conditions.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of the crane, including hydraulic systems, wire ropes, hooks, boom sections, tracks, safety devices, and controls.
• Ensure crane stability by verifying proper ground preparation, crane setup, and outrigger or track positioning where applicable.
• Coordinate closely with riggers, signalmen, supervisors, and lifting personnel during lifting operations.
• Perform safe lifting, swinging, positioning, and placement of heavy loads with precision.
• Monitor weather conditions and suspend operations when conditions become unsafe.
• Identify mechanical defects or safety hazards and report them immediately to supervisors.
• Complete daily equipment inspection reports, maintenance logs, and operational documentation.
• Follow company lifting procedures, project specifications, and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the crane in clean and serviceable condition and report maintenance requirements promptly.
• Perform other lifting and equipment operation duties assigned by management.
