SHEET METAL FABRICATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator or in a similar fabrication role.
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in a related trade or similar field.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Holder of a valid Philippine Driver’s License (Restriction 1 & 2).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication specifications.
- Proficient in the use of measuring instruments and sheet metal fabrication tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements and work procedures.
- Measure, mark, and cut sheet metal accurately using shears, saws, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment.
- Form and shape metal components using press brakes, rollers, bending machines, and hand tools.
- Assemble, fit, and fabricate sheet metal products and structural components according to project specifications.
- Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and finishing work as required.
- Inspect completed components to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Operate fabrication machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Identify material defects and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Perform other related fabrication duties assigned by management.
