PROCESS TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Process Technician or in a similar manufacturing or production role.
- Graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with spreadsheets and production reporting.
- Ability to monitor automated production systems and interpret operational data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to work rotating shifts and in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production equipment, gauges, control panels, and computer systems during production shifts.
- Observe machine performance and process parameters to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Respond promptly to system alarms, equipment faults, and process deviations using established troubleshooting procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, operational, and technical issues to minimize production downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Collect and inspect product samples and conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with production specifications and quality standards.
- Record process measurements, production data, equipment performance, and quality results in logbooks and spreadsheets.
- Prepare accurate shift reports and communicate equipment status and operational issues during shift handovers.
- Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance teams to improve production efficiency.
- Follow workplace health, safety, environmental, and quality management procedures at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
