CONTRACT MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10+ years experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Extensive experience in contract management within large-scale industrial or offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, execution, and claims management processes.
• Ability to manage risks and optimize contractual opportunities during project execution.
• Experience coordinating with project managers, legal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with industrial risk management methodologies and project governance standards.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, partner agreements, and tender documentation processes.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and support corporate and project leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all contract management activities during negotiation and execution phases.
• Ensure implementation of company policies, Golden Rules, and Silver Guidelines.
• Manage contract resources, staffing, and capability development within the project team.
• Review and supervise compliance with contractual terms, guidelines, and standards.
• Prepare contract management reports for project and corporate leadership.
• Collect, analyze, and document lessons learned and project feedback.
• Apply industrial risk management practices to minimize contractual and operational risks.
• Review bid summaries, legal analyses, and tender documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct contract induction meetings and ensure proper documentation control.
• Assist project managers in execution strategy, change management, and claims resolution.
• Draft project-specific contracts for goods, services, and subcontractors.
• Identify high-risk subcontractors and vendors for monitoring and control.
• Participate in project budget reviews and financial coordination activities.
• Ensure proper filing and management of all contractual documentation.
• Support legal teams in preliminary litigation and dispute-related documentation.
