MECHANICAL COMPLETION ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Offshore platform fabrication experience is required.
• Strong English communication and comprehension skills.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical completion systems, inspections, and commissioning procedures.
• Experienced in reviewing contracts, engineering documents, and project completion plans.
• Familiarity with test packs, punch list systems, and completion software.
• Ability to coordinate with construction teams, vendors, quality control, and HSE personnel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of international standards, quality procedures, and offshore project execution practices.
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and project documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical completion activities for offshore and industrial projects.
• Review contracts, project specifications, and engineering requirements for compliance.
• Verify engineering documents, completion procedures, and mechanical completion plans.
• Supervise preparation and execution of test packs, procedures, and inspection checklists.
• Manage completion software systems and monitor punch list activities.
• Coordinate with construction teams, vendors, and HSE planning personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure inspections, quality checks, and corrective actions are completed according to project standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide completion status reports to project management.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of mechanical completion records and reports.
• Support commissioning and handover activities while maintaining compliance with HSE and quality standards.
