MMT SARL is seeking qualified and detail-oriented Laboratory Technicians to support laboratory operations in the mining industry. The successful candidates will be responsible for collecting, preparing, analyzing, and documenting laboratory samples while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with established laboratory procedures and safety standards.
Laboratory Technician (Mining Industry)
Qualifications:
- Male and Female applicants are welcome to apply.
- Age requirement: 25 to 40 years old.
- Degree in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience working in the mining industry is an advantage.
- Proficient in using laboratory instruments, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory procedures.
- Ability to maintain proper records and laboratory documentation.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work in a mining industry environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, label, and properly store laboratory samples for testing and analysis.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses accurately according to established procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Record test results and maintain complete, accurate, and organized laboratory documentation.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples and laboratory materials.
- Conduct quality checks and report any irregularities or testing issues.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
- Support laboratory activities related to mining operations and material analysis.

- Passport valid for more than 3 years preferred (or proof of passport release)
- NBI clearance (valid or with proof of release)
- Educational credentials (diploma, form 137, TOR)
- PEOS certificate
- Vax Certificate
