Mulder Natural Foods NV is offering an overseas employment opportunity for an SSR/Maintenance Technician in Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting production machinery and technical installations to ensure reliable and efficient manufacturing operations.

SSR/Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants aged 25–45 years, as stated in the vacancy.
  • High school graduate and technical vocational graduate.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical education in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is listed in the employer’s background requirements; applicants should confirm the specific degree requirement.
  • Proven experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery.
  • Ability to start, repair, and maintain industrial machines and technical installations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems, machine installation, and maintenance documentation.
  • Experience with production line start-ups and continuous improvement projects is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and a results-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
  • Must demonstrate motivation, commitment, enthusiasm, and the ability to work effectively with a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Start up, repair, and maintain production machinery and technical installations.
  • Ensure the operational availability and reliability of production equipment.
  • Plan and perform technical interventions and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Carry out corrective maintenance to resolve machine breakdowns and operational problems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Monitor and inspect production machinery and auxiliary equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
  • Identify equipment faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures, technical standards, and equipment maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain and update maintenance logs, service records, and technical documentation.
  • Support technical operators with the installation, adjustment, and start-up of production lines.
  • Assist with machinery installation projects and improvements to production equipment infrastructure.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and production efficiency.
  • Coordinate with production personnel and other technicians to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
