PSR/CNC Setup & Programmer

Qualifications:

• Male applicants aged 25–45, as specified in the supplied vacancy.
• Technical diploma in CNC machining, mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in CNC setup and programming.
• Practical experience setting up and programming CNC machines, particularly CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools and inspection instruments.
• Knowledge of dimensional measurement, tolerances, and quality control.
• Able to select appropriate machining tools and methods for different components.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision manufacturing.
• Able to troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Able to work effectively with production and engineering teams.
• Organized, responsible, and committed to maintaining workplace safety and product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and program CNC machines according to technical drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
• Operate and work primarily with 3-axis CNC lathes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, machining instructions, and component specifications.
• Produce one-off components and small-batch production parts with a high level of accuracy.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling arrangements, and machining methods for each job.
• Use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished components.
• Check dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings, programs, and tooling to achieve the required accuracy.
• Identify machining or quality issues and take corrective action when necessary.
• Maintain consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with production and engineering colleagues to meet manufacturing schedules and technical requirements.
• Keep the work area organized and follow established workplace safety and quality procedures.
