SOUBRY is offering a full-time employment opportunity for a Production Operator in Belgium. The successful candidate will operate and adjust automated pasta production machinery to ensure that products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to established quality standards. This position is suitable for applicants with experience in production operations, machine handling, troubleshooting, and food manufacturing who can work effectively in a team and follow food safety and hygiene procedures.

Production Operator

Qualifications:

• Male or female applicants aged 25–45, as specified in the supplied vacancy.
• High school graduate or technical vocational graduate.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Production Operator or in a related manufacturing role.
• Experience operating production machinery, preferably automated pasta production equipment.
• Knowledge of machine setup, parameter adjustment, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with production processes, work instructions, production orders, and inventory control.
• Ability to inspect product quality and identify production irregularities.
• Knowledge of machine safety devices and safe equipment operation.
• Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Technical or vocational training in machine operation, food manufacturing, mechanical technology, or a related field is an advantage.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Good technical understanding and a practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and results-driven.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
• Willing to work on a rotating two-shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Start, operate, monitor, and adjust automated pasta production machines and equipment.
• Set machine parameters according to production orders, work instructions, and established operating procedures.
• Assemble, disassemble, and adjust production equipment when required.
• Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency and consistent product quality.
• Troubleshoot production problems and machine malfunctions and perform first-line maintenance.
• Inspect finished products and raw or perishable materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Check machine safety devices and ensure equipment operates safely.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work in an environmentally responsible manner and minimize unnecessary waste.
• Review production orders, work instructions, and prescribed production methods before starting operations.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages of materials or supplies.
• Prepare production records, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Coordinate with colleagues and other production personnel to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Participate in company training and continuously develop machine operation and technical skills.
