CIVIL SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience related to civil construction, maintenance, or other relevant civil engineering activities.
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia or other Gulf countries is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction and site supervision practices.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Arabic communication is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of working in a construction or industrial site environment.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor civil works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and tools required for civil works.
  • Supervise workers, subcontractors, and site personnel involved in civil activities.
  • Inspect ongoing and completed civil works to ensure proper quality and workmanship.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, contractors, and other site personnel.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure assigned civil works are completed according to schedule.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions before and during construction activities.
  • Identify site problems, construction discrepancies, and technical issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure proper execution of concrete, masonry, plastering, finishing, excavation, repair, and other civil works as applicable.
  • Monitor the use and availability of construction materials and report material requirements.
  • Ensure that work areas are properly organized and maintained.
  • Conduct site inspections and report work progress to project management.
  • Support quality control and ensure civil works meet required standards.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies and site regulations.
  • Communicate work instructions clearly to workers and site teams.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to civil activities.
  • Perform other duties related to civil supervision as assigned.
