CHEF DE PARTIE
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience is required.
- Experience preparing Persian and Arabic cuisine is highly preferred.
- No minimum educational attainment is required.
- Knowledgeable in basic food preparation, cooking techniques, portioning, seasoning, and food presentation.
- Able to operate common kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Must possess a valid passport with at least 2 years and 6 months validity.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Persian and Arabic dishes according to standardized recipes and established kitchen procedures.
- Ensure all food is prepared with consistent quality, taste, freshness, and presentation.
- Prepare ingredients by cutting, cleaning, marinating, seasoning, portioning, and other required preparation techniques.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, and food presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, cooking areas, and workstations.
- Monitor food stock, ingredients, and supplies and promptly inform supervisors of shortages or replenishment requirements.
- Store food ingredients properly and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely food preparation and service.
- Assist in maintaining proper food quality and consistency during service.
- Follow all kitchen safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
