Overseas Labor Recruiting (OLR) is seeking experienced and talented Chef de Partie professionals to join luxury hospitality establishments in Austria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an assigned kitchen section, preparing high-quality dishes, and maintaining exceptional food quality, hygiene, and operational standards. Candidates with strong bakery or pastry experience are highly encouraged to apply.
CHEF DE PARTIE
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of international experience in luxury hotels or cruise ships.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Must possess a TESDA NC II certificate in Cookery, Bread and Pastry Production, or a related culinary qualification.
- Strong experience in bakery or pastry production is highly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of international culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of an assigned kitchen section.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards throughout food preparation and service.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control and requisition of kitchen supplies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to minimize waste.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to meet production schedules and service requirements.
- Assist in menu preparation, recipe development, and continuous improvement of kitchen operations.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong culinary, baking, and pastry preparation skills.
- Excellent leadership and team supervision abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting production deadlines.
