Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites is seeking experienced Chambermaids to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort throughout the hotel. The successful candidates will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and assigned areas, ensuring all accommodations are well-presented and ready for occupancy while delivering exceptional hospitality service.
CHAMBERMAID
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Chambermaid, Housekeeper, or in a similar role.
- Candidates must hold a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Others or a related field.
- Must be at least 24 years old.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning equipment, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, make beds, and replenish guest amenities.
- Clean, disinfect, and sanitize all room surfaces, fixtures, and bathroom facilities.
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals are properly stored, handled, and used in accordance with safety procedures.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and readiness for new arrivals.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and cleaning supplies in an organized condition. - Follow hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide courteous and professional service while respecting guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
