AGS Global Services Pty Ltd. is seeking skilled Cabinet Makers for deployment to Australia. The successful candidate will fabricate, assemble, and install high-quality cabinetry and furniture components while ensuring precision, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.

CABINET MAKER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience as a Cabinet Maker.
  • Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
  • Must currently be working or have no employment gap of more than 1 year.
  • Current work experience must be directly related to cabinet making or woodworking.
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Experienced in working with hardwoods, softwoods, laminates, thermofoil, and decorative finishes.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery such as saws, drills, sanders, chisels, planers, and jointers.
  • Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and finishing quality.
  • Ability to balance artistry and technical precision in cabinet fabrication and installation.
  • Good communication and customer consultation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications accurately.
  • Select and prepare materials including wood, laminates, and hardware for fabrication.
  • Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinetry and furniture components using hand and power tools.
  • Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Apply decorative finishes and ensure products meet aesthetic and functional standards.
  • Perform sanding, polishing, fitting, and finishing of cabinetry products.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure precision and durability of finished products.
  • Consult with clients to understand project requirements and design preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and production schedules at all times.
