We are seeking an experienced Body Truck Builder / Hydraulic Technician to assemble, fabricate, install, and maintain truck bodies and hydraulic systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for truck body construction, welding, metal fabrication, installation of hydraulic components, and ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and engineering standards.
BODY TRUCK BUILDER / HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Technical Diploma or Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in truck body building, heavy equipment, trailer manufacturing, or vehicle assembly.
- Proficient in MIG/MAG welding, metal fabrication, and truck body assembly.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing or heavy vehicle production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and install truck bodies, trailers, and related vehicle components.
- Perform MIG/MAG welding, cutting, grinding, fitting, and metal fabrication works.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain hydraulic systems, including cylinders, pumps, hoses, valves, and controls.
- Assemble and install mechanical and electrical components required for truck body applications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper operation and structural integrity of completed units.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Operate fabrication tools, welding equipment, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and production schedules.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
