BARTENDER

Qualifications:

• 24–45 years old; applicants above 45 may be considered depending on experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Bartender experience.
• Experience in a hotel, resort, bar, restaurant, or hospitality establishment is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in preparing and serving cocktails, mocktails, beverages, and other drinks.
• Familiar with proper bar setup, drink presentation, and beverage service procedures.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented, courteous, and professional when dealing with guests.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of bar cleanliness, hygiene, and safe handling of equipment.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a hospitality team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, juices, coffee, and other beverages.
• Follow standard recipes and proper beverage preparation techniques.
• Set up the bar area before service and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready.
• Maintain proper presentation and quality of drinks before serving guests.
• Take beverage orders accurately and provide prompt and courteous service.
• Interact professionally and courteously with guests and respond appropriately to their requests.
• Recommend beverages and assist guests with drink selections when requested.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar and beverage service areas.
• Clean and properly maintain bar tools, glassware, equipment, counters, and storage areas.
• Monitor beverage supplies, garnishes, ice, glassware, and other bar inventory.
• Assist with stock checking and inform supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
• Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and serving beverages.
• Follow workplace health, safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service procedures.
• Process orders and payments accurately when required.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, supervisors, and other hospitality personnel to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene at all times.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining service quality and attention to detail.
• Perform other duties related to beverage service and bar operations as assigned.
