Generazione Vincente is seeking qualified and customer-oriented Check-In Operators to support passenger services and airport operations in Italy. The successful candidates will assist passengers throughout the check-in process, verify travel documents, issue boarding passes, process baggage, provide flight information, and ensure a smooth and professional passenger experience.
CHECK-IN OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional work experience.
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or airport/airline operations is an advantage.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, courteous, professional, and patient when dealing with passengers.
- Ability to verify tickets, passports, identification, and other travel documents accurately.
- Familiarity with passenger check-in procedures and boarding pass issuance is an advantage.
- Able to use computers and learn airline check-in and passenger service systems.
- Good attention to detail when processing passenger and baggage information.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to handle passenger concerns and operational issues professionally.
- Willing to follow airport security, safety, airline, and company procedures.
- Reliable, organized, adaptable, and customer-service oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers with the check-in process in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Verify passenger tickets, identification cards, passports, visas, and other required travel documents.
- Process passenger check-in using computer systems and airline or airport check-in software.
- Issue boarding passes and other necessary travel documents.
- Assign, confirm, and modify passenger seats according to airline procedures and passenger requirements.
- Weigh, tag, and process passenger baggage in accordance with airline policies and baggage allowances.
- Check baggage information and ensure baggage tags are properly attached.
- Provide passengers with accurate information regarding flight schedules, gates, boarding times, and connecting flights.
- Assist passengers with questions regarding airport procedures, boarding, baggage, and travel requirements.
- Direct passengers to appropriate check-in counters, security areas, departure gates, and other airport facilities.
- Handle passenger requests and concerns professionally and provide appropriate assistance.
- Coordinate with airline, airport, ground handling, and other operational personnel when necessary.
- Monitor flight information and communicate schedule or gate changes to passengers.
- Assist with boarding procedures and passenger flow when assigned.
- Ensure all passenger and check-in information is entered accurately into the appropriate systems.
- Follow airline, airport, security, safety, and customer service procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and properly handle passenger information and travel documents.
- Report irregularities, documentation issues, baggage problems, or other operational concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company.
- Perform other passenger service and airport check-in duties assigned by management.
