GARDENER / LANDSCAPING WORKER

Qualifications:

• Male or female applicants.
• 24–45 years old.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Gardener or Landscaping Worker.
• Knowledge of plant care, lawn maintenance, and landscaping.
• Familiarity with soil preparation, fertilizing, planting, and general garden maintenance.
• Able to operate basic gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor and manual work.
• Good knowledge of basic gardening and landscape maintenance practices.
• Hardworking, responsible, reliable, and disciplined.
• Passionate about outdoor work and maintaining clean and attractive landscaped areas.
• Able to work independently and as part of a landscaping team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain gardens, lawns, landscaped areas, and outdoor spaces according to established requirements.
• Perform regular watering, pruning, trimming, weeding, and general plant care.
• Mow, edge, and maintain lawns to keep grass areas neat and healthy.
• Prepare soil for planting by digging, cultivating, leveling, and improving soil conditions.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, grass, and other landscape plants as required.
• Apply fertilizers, compost, soil conditioners, and other approved gardening materials properly.
• Monitor plants for signs of disease, pests, damage, or poor growth and report problems when necessary.
• Remove weeds, fallen leaves, branches, debris, and other unwanted materials from landscaped areas.
• Trim and shape shrubs, hedges, trees, and other plants to maintain their appearance and health.
• Operate basic gardening tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of gardening tools and equipment.
• Assist with landscaping projects, planting activities, and outdoor area improvements.
• Maintain pathways, garden borders, planting beds, and other landscaped features.
• Follow proper procedures for handling fertilizers, gardening materials, and other supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other landscaping workers to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Minimize damage to plants, lawns, landscaping features, and property while performing maintenance work.
• Perform other gardening and landscaping duties assigned by the employer.
