Aviation Services Company (Riyadh Air) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Avionics Engineer I (Line Maintenance) to support Boeing 787 operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring aircraft avionics systems are maintained, inspected, and certified in compliance with aviation regulatory standards, ensuring maximum safety, reliability, and operational readiness.
Avionics Engineer I (Line Maintenance)
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid GACA Airman License AV/B2 and/or EASA Part-66 B2 license with Boeing 787 GEnx endorsement.
- Minimum of 5 years verifiable maintenance experience under GACA or other CAA regulations.
- At least 5 years of experience in line maintenance environments, specifically on Boeing 787 aircraft.
- Must have held certifying staff authorization within the last 2 years.
- Must have certifying experience on Boeing 787 within the last 3 years.
- Level III type training on Boeing 787-9 is required.
- Active AV/B2 license with no restrictions or limitations.
- Strong technical knowledge of avionics systems, aircraft maintenance procedures, and aviation safety regulations.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, safety-critical aviation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform line maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and certification of Boeing 787 avionics systems.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GACA and other applicable Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.
- Certify aircraft readiness in accordance with approved licensing and authorization standards.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and rectification of avionics and electrical systems, including GEnx-related systems.
- Review technical documentation, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and certification documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, flight operations, and maintenance teams to ensure aircraft availability and safety.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, airworthiness directives, and company maintenance policies.
- Support continuous improvement in maintenance processes and operational efficiency.

- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
- Employment certificates
- NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
- PEOS certificate
