Marriott Hotel is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Tailors to join its hospitality team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for altering, repairing, and maintaining hotel uniforms, guest garments, linens, and other textile items while ensuring high standards of quality, appearance, and customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Tailor

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be 35 years old or below.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Tailor in a hotel, garment manufacturing, fashion, or textile industry.
• Must possess a valid passport.
• Proficient in garment alterations, repairs, hemming, stitching, pattern adjustments, and finishing techniques.
• Skilled in operating industrial sewing machines, overlock machines, pressing equipment, and tailoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of different fabrics, garment construction, and sewing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
• Good organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Alter, repair, and tailor hotel staff uniforms, guest clothing, linens, curtains, and other fabric items.
• Take accurate measurements and perform fittings to ensure proper garment sizing and fit.
• Operate sewing machines, overlock machines, pressing equipment, and other tailoring tools safely and efficiently.
• Replace zippers, buttons, hooks, snaps, and other garment accessories as needed.
• Mend torn fabrics, repair damaged garments, and perform alterations while maintaining garment quality and appearance.
• Press, steam, and finish garments to hotel presentation standards.
• Inspect garments and textile items for defects before and after repairs.
• Maintain an organized tailoring workspace and ensure sewing equipment is clean and in good working condition.
• Keep records of alteration requests, completed work, and inventory of tailoring materials.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping and Laundry departments to ensure timely completion of tailoring requests.
• Follow hotel quality standards, hygiene practices, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other tailoring and garment care duties assigned by management.
