Marriott Hotel is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendants to join its housekeeping team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for laundering, drying, pressing, folding, and organizing hotel linens, uniforms, towels, and guest laundry while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and quality. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent hospitality support.

Laundry Attendant

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be 35 years old or below.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Laundry Attendant or in a similar hospitality or commercial laundry role.
• Experience in a hotel, resort, or commercial laundry facility is preferred.
• Must possess a valid passport.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry operations, fabric care, stain removal techniques, and garment handling.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness and quality standards.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, lift laundry loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, press, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, steam presses, and ironing machines.
• Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or wear, and report any issues to supervisors.
• Apply appropriate washing and drying procedures based on fabric type and care instructions.
• Ensure all linens and garments are clean, neatly folded, and delivered to the appropriate departments on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, equipment, and work areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning chemicals, and laundry supplies, and report replenishment needs.
• Follow hotel procedures for handling guest laundry, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Comply with hotel hygiene standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of laundry equipment.
• Assist housekeeping and other hotel departments with linen distribution when required.
• Perform other laundry and housekeeping-related duties assigned by management.
