AUTO DENTER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Auto Denter or in a similar automotive body repair role is required.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Others or a related field.
• A valid NC II Certificate in Auto Denter is required.
• Proficient in vehicle body repair techniques, frame straightening, panel replacement, and surface preparation.
• Skilled in using automotive body repair tools, equipment, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality repair work.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate vehicle damage and prepare accurate damage assessment reports.
• Repair damaged vehicle bodies using appropriate dent repair and panel restoration techniques.
• Perform frame straightening, body panel replacement, and structural repairs using specialized tools and equipment.
• Remove, repair, or replace damaged components such as bumpers, doors, fenders, and body panels.
• Grind, sand, buff, fill, and prime repaired surfaces in preparation for painting and refinishing.
• Apply finishing materials to restored body parts to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
• Reassemble vehicle parts and components after repairs, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Coordinate with insurance companies when required to facilitate claims and ensure repairs are completed according to approved standards.
• Order and monitor the availability of replacement parts, materials, and workshop supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while complying with company policies and industry safety standards.
