P.T Dunia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Welder (Dayshift Only) to support geothermal power plant operations in Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, installing, repairing, and welding high-pressure piping systems, wellheads, and heavy equipment used in high-temperature geothermal facilities while ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.

SENIOR WELDER (DAYSHIFT ONLY)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Senior Welder, Pipe Welder, or in a similar industrial welding role is required.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Others or a related field.
• Must hold a Welding Certificate – All Position (Class 5).
• Experience working with Drillmec equipment and in geothermal projects is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in 6G pipe welding using SMAW, GTAW (TIG), and FCAW processes.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes, WPS, engineering drawings, and NDT quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, install, and repair high-pressure piping systems, wellheads, and heavy equipment used in geothermal power plants.
• Perform high-pressure, multi-position pipe welding (primarily 6G) using SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), and FCAW welding processes.
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-alloy materials in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Execute critical welds on geothermal well casings, steam gathering lines, heat exchangers, and related equipment while maintaining high pass rates in non-destructive testing (NDT), including radiographic (X-ray) and ultrasonic testing (UT).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, piping isometrics, blueprints, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
• Inspect completed welds and perform necessary repairs to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Follow strict safety procedures and industry regulations while working with high-pressure and high-temperature systems.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition.
