Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator to support engineering and construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and revising accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD while working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure designs are implemented according to project requirements and industry standards.

CAD OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a CAD Operator or in a similar drafting role is required.
• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in preparing 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and construction documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Create, revise, and update technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans to support engineering and construction activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate design implementation and project execution.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design data to produce precise technical drawings.
• Maintain drawing revisions and ensure all documentation is updated and properly controlled.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable engineering codes.
• Assist in resolving drafting issues by coordinating with engineers and other project personnel.
• Organize and maintain electronic drawing files and related technical documentation.
