Assistant Team Leader – Operations (In-Flight Catering)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants.
• High School, Secondary School, or Vocational School graduate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within catering, airline catering, food service, or hospitality operations.
• Basic knowledge of flight catering operations, airline documentation, and dispatch procedures is an advantage.
• Good communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate multiple operational activities simultaneously.
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and accept operational assignments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Supervisor and Team Leader in managing daily flight assembly and catering operations.
• Assign, monitor, and supervise operational staff to ensure flights are assembled, loaded, and dispatched according to schedule.
• Coordinate with Beverage, Kits, Tray Setting, Equipment, Food Packing, and Transport sections to ensure smooth operational workflow.
• Monitor flight schedules, telex messages, packing lists, loading plans, and operational updates, taking immediate action when changes occur.
• Verify food load sheets, security checklists, catering documentation, and flight records before dispatch.
• Ensure only authorized catering items, equipment, and supplies are loaded onto aircraft.
• Support the preparation and coordination of VIP and special flight catering requirements.
• Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records, reports, and logbooks.
• Monitor staff performance and promote teamwork, productivity, and compliance with operational procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, food safety standards, aviation security regulations, cybersecurity requirements, and Saudi Labor Law.
• Report operational issues, delays, shortages, or incidents promptly to supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.
• Perform other operational duties assigned by management.
