Aluminum Technician (Rolling Shutter)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in rolling shutter fabrication, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience working with both manual and motorized rolling shutter systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical connections, motor controls, and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, specifications, and measurements accurately.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently at project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Install rolling shutters, rolling grilles, and related accessories at project sites according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Assemble and fit shutter components including guides, shafts, brackets, springs, motors, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repair works on existing rolling shutter installations.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical and electrical faults in manual and motorized rolling shutter systems.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate installation and fabrication.
• Adjust, align, and test shutter systems to ensure smooth, safe, and reliable operation.
• Inspect completed installations and carry out corrective actions for any defects or operational issues.
• Operate fabrication machinery, welding equipment, and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and installation procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and serviceable condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors, project teams, and clients to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Prepare and submit reports on installation, maintenance, and repair activities as required.
