We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Fabrication Foreman to join Zamil Shipyards in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will supervise aluminum fabrication activities in shipbuilding and repair projects, ensuring high-quality output, safety compliance, and efficient workflow.
Aluminum Fabrication Foreman
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aluminum fabrication, including supervisory or foreman role in shipyard, marine, or heavy fabrication industry
- Strong knowledge of aluminum materials, fabrication techniques, and marine outfitting works
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
- Experience in supervising fabrication teams and coordinating workshop activities
- Skilled in aluminum cutting, welding, assembly, and finishing processes
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work in industrial shipyard conditions
- Willing to work in shifting schedules and meet project deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate aluminum fabrication activities in shipyard projects
- Assign tasks and monitor performance of fabrication teams
- Ensure accurate fabrication, assembly, and installation of aluminum structures
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with specifications
- Inspect work quality and ensure adherence to standards and tolerances
- Monitor material usage and ensure proper handling of aluminum materials
- Coordinate with engineers, welders, and other trades for project execution
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Provide technical guidance and training to workers as needed
- Report progress, issues, and manpower requirements to management
