ACCOUNTANT

Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in accounting or finance roles.
• CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and review financial records, reports, and accounting documents accurately.
• Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and financial regulations.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting activities.
• Utilize accounting software and financial systems to manage accounting operations efficiently.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
• Assist in audits, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records and transactions.
• Coordinate with management and other departments regarding financial matters and reporting needs.
