A Plus Manufacturing PNG Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Staff to join our finance team in Papua New Guinea. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end accounting activities to ensure smooth financial operations.

Accounting Staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an advantage.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Assist in payroll processing and tax documentation.
• Monitor and update ledgers, invoices, and expense reports.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting documents.
• Assist during audits and financial reviews.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters.
