Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced and technically skilled CNC Punch Operator for an overseas work opportunity in Ireland. The successful candidate will operate CNC punching machinery used in the manufacturing of switchgear and similar products, ensuring accurate production, proper machine operation, and consistent product quality. Applicants with experience in the switchgear punching industry or a similar manufacturing environment and good English communication skills are encouraged to apply.
CNC PUNCH OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in the switchgear punching industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating CNC punching machines is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of CNC machine operation and metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and production specifications.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physically fit and capable of handling metal materials and performing production duties.
- Good safety awareness and responsible work attitude.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC punching machines according to production requirements.
- Produce metal components and panels used in switchgear and similar electrical equipment.
- Read and follow production drawings, machine instructions, and job specifications.
- Load and position metal sheets or components correctly before machining.
- Select and install appropriate punching tools and machine settings.
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain production accuracy.
- Inspect punched components for dimensions, alignment, holes, and other quality requirements.
- Identify defective or incorrectly punched components and report issues to the supervisor.
- Perform routine machine checks and ensure CNC punching equipment is operating properly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe machine work area.
- Handle metal materials and finished components safely.
- Follow company production procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Coordinate with production staff, engineers, and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Report machine faults, tooling problems, or production issues promptly.
- Perform other CNC machine operation and production duties as assigned.
