The Purchasing Staff is responsible for supporting the procurement process of materials, supplies, and services needed for the furniture manufacturing operations. The role ensures timely sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, and accurate documentation while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in manufacturing or furniture industry.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, components, and supplies for production.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders based on production requirements.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier files.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of potential shortages.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and finance departments for smooth procurement operations.
• Assist in resolving supplier issues such as delays, quality concerns, or discrepancies.
