CAS Recruitment Ltd is hiring Vehicle Mechanics (Bus) for deployment to Cyprus. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing commercial buses, supervising semi-skilled technicians, and ensuring that all maintenance work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.

VEHICLE MECHANIC (BUS)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role with documented references.
• Graduate of a Technical School, Higher Technical Institute, HND Diploma in Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles, particularly buses.
• Experience working with Euro 6 engines is highly desirable.
• Experience replacing engines and gearboxes is highly desirable.
• Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and service procedures.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, engine, transmission, and vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of workshop health and safety procedures.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Energetic, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must possess a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fault-finding and diagnostic procedures on bus mechanical breakdowns and operational issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on commercial buses.
• Diagnose and repair engines, gearboxes, braking systems, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
• Replace engines, transmissions, and major mechanical assemblies when required.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and determine corrective actions.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Supervise, guide, and monitor the work of Semi-Skilled Technicians.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and operational reliability.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and repair documentation.
• Ensure compliance with workshop safety regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet performance and maintenance efficiency.

Salary Offer:

• Salary starts at €1,600.00 Gross monthly.
• Forty-Eight (48) working hours / Six (6) days a week.
• Contract duration is for 2 years.
