TRUCK SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience in the same field.
- English proficiency required (IELTS or School Certificate).
- Must have a valid Passport, TESDA Certificate, and Driver’s License.
- Verifiable work experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of truck diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and servicing procedures.
- Experience repairing engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other heavy vehicle components.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform warranty-related repairs.
- Familiarity with workshop databases, reporting systems, and service documentation.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic, repair, and servicing tasks on truck engines and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose faults and ensure proper vehicle operation under dealer warranty guidelines.
- Dismantle, repair, reconstruct, or replace faulty mechanical components as necessary.
- Repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and related components.
- Provide expert advice regarding the mechanical condition of vehicles.
- Report all required repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities using company databases and reporting systems.
- Order and manage parts required for warranty and repair completion.
- Record serial numbers of repaired components for warranty documentation purposes.
- Maintain updated knowledge of mechanical systems and dealership product changes.
- Ensure safe operation of workshop tools, machinery, and specialized equipment.
- Conduct test drives and final vehicle assessments before release to customers.
- Support a positive team environment and comply with company policies and workplace standards.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by management.
