FISH FILLETER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of total work experience, including at least 3 years of overseas experience.
• Proven experience as a Fish Filleter with excellent knife skills.
• Fish processing experience is required; meat processing experience is not accepted.
• Experience working in a factory or production environment with manufacturing and production systems.
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual fish filleting tasks while standing for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for factory operations, production reporting, and documentation.
• Preferably 45 years old or below.
• Must have complete and verifiable employment documents.
• Must be willing and able to complete the IELTS examination.
• Must be able to obtain an IELTS Overall Band Score of 4.0 or meet the employer’s required language proficiency standard.

Responsibilities:

• Fillet, trim, skin, and prepare fish products accurately and efficiently using specialized knives and processing equipment.
• Remove bones, scales, and other unwanted parts while maximizing product yield and minimizing waste.
• Inspect fish products to ensure they meet company quality, food safety, and customer specifications.
• Handle raw fish safely and maintain product freshness throughout the processing cycle.
• Operate and maintain filleting tools and basic processing equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow production schedules and achieve daily processing targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and processing areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Observe workplace health and safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Record production data and complete basic factory documentation using computer systems when required.
• Work closely with supervisors and production team members to ensure efficient workflow and continuous production.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.
