Life International School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its academic team in Cambodia. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging science lessons, fostering students’ curiosity and critical thinking skills, assessing academic progress, and creating a positive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and student development.
SCIENCE TEACHER
Qualifications:
- Male or Female applicants are welcome to apply.
- Age: 23 to 35 years old.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, major in Science.
- Must be a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a private or public school.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to student success and academic excellence.
- Strong lesson planning, instructional, and student assessment skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a multicultural educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Science lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
- Teach scientific concepts through interactive discussions, laboratory activities, demonstrations, and practical experiments.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Assess student learning through quizzes, examinations, assignments, projects, and laboratory work.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments, and student performance.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes respect and active participation.
- Supervise students during laboratory sessions and ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures.
- Communicate regularly with parents, school administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress and academic concerns.
- Participate in faculty meetings, school activities, training programs, and professional development initiatives.
- Support extracurricular activities, science fairs, and other school events as required.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the School Principal or management.
