FLOOR FINISHER / VINYL INSTALLER

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in vinyl flooring installation or a similar flooring installation role.
• Strong knowledge of floor preparation, leveling, adhesive application, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and install flooring materials.
• Experience in construction, renovation, or interior fit-out projects is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor, lifting materials, and working in various job site conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret layout plans and installation drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Install vinyl flooring, vinyl planks, vinyl sheets, and other floor covering materials according to project specifications.
• Measure, inspect, and prepare floor surfaces to ensure they are clean, level, and ready for installation.
• Cut, fit, and secure flooring materials accurately using appropriate tools and installation techniques.
• Apply adhesives, sealants, and finishing materials while ensuring proper alignment and smooth installation.
• Remove existing flooring materials and prepare surfaces for new flooring installations.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure quality workmanship, proper finishing, and compliance with project requirements.
• Read and interpret layout plans, technical drawings, and installation specifications.
• Operate flooring installation tools, cutting equipment, and other related machinery safely and efficiently.
• Repair or replace damaged flooring materials when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas before, during, and after installation.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and team members to complete projects within established timelines.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.
