Our employer in New Zealand is in need of the following position:

TRUCK MECHANIC / FORKLIFT MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Experienced in working with major truck dealerships and heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Toyota, Isuzu, Hino, Mitsubishi Fuso, Scania, and MAN
• Skilled in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment
• Experience handling forklifts, trucks, and heavy equipment maintenance
• Must have strong English communication skills
• Willing to take PTE or IELTS examination
• Preferably with at least 5 years of overseas work experience
• Physically fit, reliable, and capable of working in industrial or field environments

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of trucks, forklifts, and heavy equipment
• Conduct repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance works
• Inspect engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical components
• Maintain and repair forklifts, trucks, and other heavy equipment machinery
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work complies with dealership and safety standards
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation
• Follow workplace safety regulations and company procedures at all times
