Balady Poultry Company is seeking a qualified Electrical Control Industrial Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and control systems, troubleshoot equipment faults, and support safe and reliable operation of production facilities while complying with electrical safety, food safety, and maintenance standards.

Electrical Control Industrial Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in electrical maintenance and industrial control systems.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Or related technical fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Essential experience as an Electrical Technician in manufacturing, production, or food processing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Motors and motor controls, MCC panels, Control panels, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Sensors and instrumentation, Electrical wiring and terminations, Industrial electrical maintenance
• Ability to use electrical test equipment including multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with CMMS, ERP systems, or maintenance reporting systems is an advantage.
• Preferred Electrical Safety Training, LOTO Training, Basic Firefighting Training, First Aid Training
• Experience in poultry plants and preventive maintenance programs

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive maintenance activities including inspection, tightening, cleaning, testing, and servicing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults involving motors, MCC panels, control panels, VFDs, sensors, lighting systems, and related equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable terminations, and minor modifications according to approved drawings and standards.
• Ensure proper identification, labeling, and documentation of electrical installations.
• Use electrical testing instruments and record readings to identify abnormal operating conditions.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Permit-to-Work procedures before maintenance activities.
• Verify safe isolation and zero-energy conditions before beginning work.
• Support equipment startup, shutdown, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with operations and mechanical teams to safely restore equipment to service.
• Maintain utility electrical systems including generators, ATS units, pump panels, compressors, and HVAC electrical controls.
• Document work orders, breakdown reports, spare parts usage, corrective actions, and maintenance findings.
• Maintain electrical rooms, workshops, and work areas following housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Assist in root cause analysis investigations and recommend preventive measures.
• Support planned shutdowns, maintenance projects, and contractor supervision activities.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate material requests with supervisors and warehouse personnel.
• Follow plant safety, hygiene, and biosecurity requirements.
• Report hazards, near-misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Participate in emergency response activities, power outage recovery, fire alarm support, and emergency drills.
• Perform other maintenance duties assigned by supervisors within the maintenance scope.
