AIS Global Group is seeking a qualified Tiler to perform professional wall and floor tile installation, surface preparation, and finishing works in accordance with construction standards, design specifications, and project requirements.
TILER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Tiler.
- Must be a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Certificate of Employment (COE) must clearly indicate the position of Tiler.
- Proficiency in all aspects of tile installation, including cutting, laying, grouting, and finishing.
- Ability to read and follow design plans, layouts, and project specifications.
- Strong knowledge of tile materials, adhesives, grouts, and installation techniques.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Install wall and floor tiles according to approved designs, drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement and alignment.
- Cut and shape tiles using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, patching, and removing existing materials when required.
- Apply adhesives, mortar, and bonding agents according to installation requirements.
- Lay tiles in planned patterns while maintaining proper spacing and alignment.
- Apply grout and finishing materials to achieve a professional appearance.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
- Repair or replace damaged tiles when necessary.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
- Follow workplace safety regulations and construction best practices.
