ComAgro-Sardo Kft. is seeking a qualified Animal Caretaker to support daily dairy farm operations, livestock care, milking activities, feeding programs, and facility sanitation while ensuring animal welfare, farm hygiene, and biosecurity standards are consistently maintained.

Animal Caretaker

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in animal care, dairy farming, livestock handling, or agricultural work.
  Must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in dairy farm operations and livestock management.
• Willing to work in farm environments with exposure to animals, manure, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy materials, equipment, and farm supplies.
• Knowledge of animal welfare practices, farm hygiene, and biosecurity procedures is preferred.
• Responsible, hardworking, physically fit, and able to follow established procedures and instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a farm operations team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform milking operations, including udder cleaning, disinfection, and operation of milking equipment.
• Herd and monitor cattle between barns and milking parlors while ensuring animals return to designated groups.
• Feed and provide water to calves and livestock according to farm schedules.
• Prepare milk replacers and maintain feeding equipment.
• Clean and disinfect calf pens, cages, feeding buckets, and bedding areas.
• Remove manure and maintain clean, dry, and sanitary animal housing facilities.
• Replace and maintain straw bedding as required.
• Clean milking parlors, dairy equipment, and milk storage facilities after use.
• Maintain cleanliness of farm yards, feed storage areas, silos, and granaries.
• Remove waste materials and spoiled feed from storage facilities.
• Assist in handling, organizing, transporting, and storing feed, disinfectants, and farm supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of offices, dining areas, changing rooms, and other farm facilities.
• Follow all farm safety, animal welfare, hygiene, and biosecurity regulations.
• Report animal health concerns, equipment issues, and facility maintenance requirements to supervisors.
