Auto Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Qualified and experienced in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of light and heavy vehicles.
• Experience working on project transport vehicles and utility equipment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and manufacturer specifications.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial and construction environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Committed to workplace safety and professional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair light and heavy vehicles and project-related transport equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and maintenance schedules.
• Repair and replace defective vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, service guides, and repair specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Ensure all work complies with workshop procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  Maintain tools, workshop equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors and equipment operators to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
