Auto Mechanic
Qualifications:
- Qualified and experienced in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of light and heavy vehicles.
- Experience working on project transport vehicles and utility equipment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and manufacturer specifications.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial and construction environments.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Committed to workplace safety and professional standards.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair light and heavy vehicles and project-related transport equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related faults.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and maintenance schedules.
- Repair and replace defective vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, service guides, and repair specifications.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Ensure all work complies with workshop procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Maintain tools, workshop equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. - Coordinate with supervisors and equipment operators to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
