HEAD CHEF

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, supervision, and team management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
• Excellent understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to maintain consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Proven experience in training and supervising kitchen staff.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for culinary excellence and commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Develop menus, create recipes, and maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to improve performance and maintain consistency.
• Plan food preparation schedules and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Manage food costing, inventory control, purchasing, and stock rotation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor kitchen procedures and maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas.
• Control food waste and implement cost-effective kitchen practices.
• Collaborate with management to develop menus and improve culinary offerings.
• Maintain a positive and professional working environment within the kitchen team.
